From the results collected from our questionnaire, we found that there was almost equal amounts of male and female respondents, from this we can gather a more representative example of the college as this is almost equal to the percentage of male and female students in the college. From the results we found that only ten out of thirty people would actually read a college magazine, this can be based upon if they have ever read one before or lack of interest. Yet if thy were to read one, the majority of students would read one weekly, and most would be willing to pay one pound a week for the magazine. In the area of interest, though there were several areas selected by students the majority selected food and gaming eighteen n each point, then technology and jobs were second most selected. The color most students selected that would be the most attention gaining was blue, then red, black and gold, this would help to gain an idea of what colors would help to gain the attention of students. There was close to equal balance between students wanting the magazine virtually, physically or either, however the majority in that category said either. When asked whether they would be willing to contribute to the magazine only seven people replied yes, the majority of students were not willing to contribute to the college magazine, this would suggest again little interest, or little knowledge of ways they would be able help. When asked if they would want a problems page, the majority of students replied with yes, suggesting this is something that is popular in magazines outside of college. finally when students were asked if discounts, vouchers and free items would encourage them to buy the college magazine, twenty-five out of thirty said this would encourage them to buy the magazine which suggests there needs to be incentive to buy the magazine.
